Installing Plugins (QMS & PDOK)

🧩 Installing Plugins in QGIS

QGIS supports many useful plugins that help you add extra data and tools to your projects. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to install two popular plugins:

  • QMS (QuickMapServices) — gives you access to base maps like OpenStreetMap, Google, and more.
  • PDOK (Publieke Dienstverlening Op de Kaart) — provides Dutch geospatial datasets (such as cadastral, administrative, and aerial layers).

✅ What You’ll Learn

  • How to use the Plugin Manager
  • How to install QMS and PDOK plugins
  • How to load layers from each plugin into your map
